What’s better than cookies for breakfast? Not much if you ask the Godwin family! I had the absolute pleasure of spending a morning with them while they baked up some fun in the kitchen, and their two little girls brought all the energy (and a bit of messy joy!) that made the experience so memorable. 🍪

The girls dove right in—flour flying, cookie dough tasting, and smiles all around. It was one of those sessions where nothing was staged or overly posed, just a family enjoying each other’s company and having fun. Watching their little personalities shine through in the small moments—like sneaking bites of dough or getting covered in flour—was everything. The best kind of mess for sure!

Their mom had a clear vision for the session, wanting to capture a fun family activity without it feeling forced. She wanted the focus to be on them interacting naturally, and I was thrilled to bring that vision to life. After the session, she shared the sweetest feedback:
"The day of, Clarissa was so sweet and made our kids feel comfortable enough to be themselves in front of the camera. We wanted to capture a fun family activity and have photos of us interacting as a family without it feeling staged or posed. Clarissa did just that and exceeded our expectations. Our photos came out beautiful. I will definitely be framing them and displaying them in our home."

I’m beyond grateful to have been part of this special time with the Godwin family. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing families enjoy these real moments and knowing they’ll have these memories to look back on for years to come. 💛
